Wisely Cardholder FAQ
How do I know if I’m eligible for the Economic Impact Payment and how much can I expect?
For more information on requirements for receiving the stimulus payment visit the IRS website.
How can I receive the payment?
If you have already set up direct deposit for your latest federal income tax return to be directly deposited to your Wisely account, you should receive your payment automatically. The stimulus payment should be transferred to your account in the same way. Refer to the IRS website for more details.
If you received a physical check for your last tax refund and want to receive your stimulus payment with direct deposit, the IRS is now accepting direct deposit information online. See below to enable direct deposit to your Wisely account. You will need the following information:
-Social Security Number
-Date of birth
-Adjusted Gross Income from your most recent tax return submitted, either 2019 or 2018
-The refund or amount owed from your latest filed tax return
-Wisely account and routing numbers
If you didn’t file taxes, the IRS is now accepting direct deposit information online for non-filers. See below to enable direct deposit to your Wisely account.
How do I deposit my stimulus payment directly into my Wisely account?
Log in to get your account and routing number. You can get the routing and account number for your Wisely card by logging into myWisely.com. Go to your account settings, then tap or click “Account Numbers”. If you don’t already have the myWisely® mobile app, download it, set up an account and access your information as previously stated.
Visit the IRS portal if you previously filed taxes and received a paper check, then enter your Social Security Number, date of birth, mailing address, adjusted gross income from your most recent tax return submitted (either 2019 or 2018), the refund or amount owed from your latest filed tax return and your Wisely account and routing number (visit the IRS portal here for non-filers).
